It is with heavy heart that Soaps.com shares the sad news of the passing of Shell Kepler (Nurse Amy Vining). According to the General Hospital Fan Club, Ms. Kepler died of renal failure shortly after being admitted to a hospital in Portland, Oregon, on February 1. Shel thank you for entertaining us all these years. Thank you for the laughter and the happiness you leave behind as your memory. Thank you for all your charitable work. Thank you for giving of yourself to help others. I am just a fan but thank you for making my afternoons something special all those years ago.

Shell was truly a great friend to those that know her. She had an energy that lifted the hearts of many fans throughout the world. I had the opportunity to know Shell personally. I will miss her.
